Takahisa Sato | Concept

さとうたかひさ｜コンセプト

​

Takahisa Sato investigates the structure of creation through
“Perceptual Shift × Method as Error.”
His works focus on the distortions and noise that emerge
between cognition and material within the act of making.
Sato accepts these irregularities not as flaws,
but as the very core of creation.
For him, making is not about achieving perfection,
but about observing the subtle discrepancies
that occur between intention and result.
His sculptures visualize, in quiet form,
the fragile boundary between seeing and creating.

さとうたかひさは、「Perceptual Shift × Method as Error（知覚の歪み × 制作のノイズ）」を主題に、
制作行為そのものを問い直す。
形をつくる過程で生じる認知の歪みや手段のノイズを排除せず、
その揺らぎを創造の核として受け入れる。
制作とは、完成を目指す行為ではなく、
意図と結果の誤差を観察する行為である。
作品は、見ることと作ることのあいだに生まれるわずかなズレを、
静かな構造として可視化する。
